I remember when half the government of New Jersey was put away in a string of RICO cases. If they can come this far in such a short amount of time, it’s a sign that there’s hope for the rest of us.
This sounds about right to me. Utah has a horrible business environment (MLMs, health scams, telemarketing companies, get-rich-quick real estate fraud), and many of our candidates are funded by these people. Makes sense that they’d be hesitant to push for more transparency in campaign finance.
